GA Handyman Guide is a free directory of handyman businesses across Georgia. Each listing pulls its factual information from publicly available sources, and the score you see is calculated by the same published method applied to every business, measuring what Google reviewers actually wrote. Because listing here costs nothing and payment never moves a score, this page explains how to fix errors, challenge a score, or request removal if your business has closed or no longer fits the directory. Correcting business details

Facts like your business name, address, phone number, website, hours, and the services you offer sometimes land wrong. To fix any of these, tell us the correct information and point us to where we can verify it: your website, Google Business Profile, or another public source that confirms what you're telling us. Once verified, the correction stays in place even when we refresh the directory data.

Disputing your score

Scores and review summaries are generated from public Google reviews through the same rubric for every business. We do not hand-edit scores, for anyone, so a dispute is a claim that the underlying data is wrong, not a request for a better number. If reviews were attributed to the wrong business, your profile was matched incorrectly, or the summary misstates what reviewers wrote, we will re-check the source data and regenerate the affected listing.

Requesting removal

Listings are removed when a business has permanently closed, when a duplicate appears in the directory, or when a listing falls outside the scope of Georgia handyman services. Our monthly re-verification cycle automatically catches and removes closed businesses. If your business is open and in scope, we will decline removal and explain why.

How fast we respond

Every correction, dispute, or removal request gets a reply within 5 business days. Confirmed removals are completed within 7 days. Any request we decline comes with a plain explanation of why.
